Public Service Projects is led by Mimi Zeiger, an award-winning critic and curator. She is recognized as a thought-leader and public intellectual in contemporary architecture and design. Her portfolio includes leadership and collaborations with respected cultural and academic institutions, architecture and design firms, and art organizations.
Skilled at crafting big ideas that resonate with diverse audiences, Zeiger co-curated the U.S. Pavilion at the 2018 Venice Architecture Biennale1, 2, 3 and Exhibit Columbus in 2020-214, 5, 6. She curated and contributed to exhibitions at the MAK Center for Art and Architecture7, 8, Bi-City Biennale of Urbanism\Architecture Shenzhen9, 10, Art Institute Chicago11, 12, New Museum 13, 14, and Storefront for Art and Architecture15, 16.
A critical voice and insightful journalist, her writing appears in national and international publications, including the New York Times17, 18, Los Angeles Times19, 20, 21, Architectural Review22, Aperture23, 24, ArtForum25, Wallpaper26, and Metropolis27. Zeiger is the author of multiple books on design, the former West Coast Editor of The Architect’s Newspaper, and serves as the book review editor for Landscape Architecture Magazine28.
She holds a Master of Architecture degree from SCI-Arc and a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Cornell University.
